Summer is definitely the season for book and literary festivals. These are taking place up and down the country.
Spring is when the calendar starts to get busier. As we get closer to the summer there are more festivals. Now is a good time to enter competitions.
As a writer, I wish there was a resource with links to literary competitions, online events and festivals where I can copy the content to my own diary. But, I'm yet to find one. So, I created my own. And, I am going to share this with you.
Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post listing literary festivals taking place in the UK throughout the UK that have caught my eye. This post is to remind you of those taking place this Winter.
We are now into week 4 and despite some poor weeks being disastorous, I have not given up on my NaNoWriMo Goal of 25k.
This is a Twitter event where writers tweet a pitch for their book in the hope that an agent will be interested in representing them.
Earlier this month, Curtis Brown held a twitter event called #AskAnna where Anna Davis was online to answer questions about writing and publishing and I saved the best Q&As from the event!
